    • NewYour account

Try AuthorLens for $1 for your first 7 days

A new account’s first week now costs $1. When the 7 days end, the plan you chose starts on the same card, and you can cancel before then from Settings. The first week includes 50 research credits; the full 200 a month start with your first full payment.

    • ImprovedTelegram

Telegram reports wait for your royalties

A daily money report is sent only once that day’s royalties have synced. If they have not, you get a short notice saying the report is waiting and what to do, and the report follows as soon as they arrive. If royalties stop for two days or more, Telegram tells you, with the last day we hold. Nothing is lost: the next sync reads every missing day.

    • ImprovedRankings

Long keywords fit in the rankings table

Drag the edge of the keyword column to make it wider; double-click it to reset. The width is remembered on this device.

    • FixedDashboard

Daily bars stay on all month

The bars under royalties, net profit, copies and ROI no longer vanish for the whole month when Amazon’s month total runs ahead of its days.

    • FixedYour account

No error page when a tab wakes up

Coming back to a tab left open for hours could show an error page while you were still signed in. It now just opens.

  2. Thursday17 changes
    • FixedAI

      ChatGPT connects to AuthorLens again

Adding AuthorLens in ChatGPT ended on “This connection link is not valid”. It now opens the AuthorLens page where you click Allow. The guide follows ChatGPT’s new Plugins menu and says the connection is set up and used at chatgpt.com in a web browser, not in the phone or desktop app.

    • NewHelp

A public board for ideas, questions and reviews

Vote for the features you want, ask a question and read what other authors say. The team answers there, and every idea shows whether it is being considered, in progress or done. The board is in English and Ukrainian.

    • NewCredits

One page that explains research credits

What costs a credit and what is free, how Watch is charged, what the monthly 200 cover, and a quick estimate of whether they are enough for you.

    • NewResearch

How we estimate another book's sales and royalty

A step-by-step page: from the sales rank to copies a day, the royalty per copy by KDP's rules and a month's total, with how close the estimate gets and what it leaves out.

    • ImprovedResearch

The sales calculator works when you don't know the print

Choose “Not sure” as the print type and the royalty, margin and goal show as a range over the prints KDP can make at that page count. The calculator is now in Ukrainian too.

      Open it
    • NewCredits

      Find a bug, get credits

Report a bug on the board or to the Telegram bot. When we confirm it, 25 to 100 research credits land in your account at once — more for a wrong figure than for a typo.

    • ImprovedResearch

      The free sales calculator, rebuilt

Type a book's rank, price and print details and see its sales a day and royalty a copy, line by line — with KDP's real printing cost for every trim size and interior, its page limits and Kindle's delivery fee. It also turns a monthly goal into the rank you need to hold.

      Open it
    • ImprovedAdvertising

Keyword results go back as far as Amazon keeps them

When you connect Amazon Ads, AuthorLens now loads every day of keyword results Amazon still holds — up to 95 days for Sponsored Products and 60 for Sponsored Brands — not only the last month.

    • FixedResearch

Royalty estimates checked against real payouts

We compared our royalty maths with what KDP actually paid AuthorLens authors. Kindle estimates were a little low — KDP takes the delivery fee off before it pays 70%, and we took it off after — and a 6 × 9 hardcover was priced as a large book. Both are fixed: the formula now matches KDP to the cent on almost every sale. We also re-measured the rank-to-sales curve on 7,400 days of real sales; slow-selling Kindle books no longer read too low.

    • FixedAdvertising

"Worth harvesting" only where you have not harvested yet

A broad or phrase keyword with orders no longer says "worth harvesting" when another of the book's campaigns already bids on the same words as exact match.

    • FixedDashboard

Clicking away mid-load no longer breaks a screen

Moving to another screen while the dashboard was still loading could leave an error behind. It no longer does, and the affiliate page opens reliably on your first visit.

    • FixedAffiliate program

Opening the partner page no longer locks you in

If you opened the partner page before subscribing, every other screen sent you back to it, so you could not subscribe or connect Amazon. You now reach the subscription page as you should, and your partner link keeps working.

    • FixedHelp

EN · UA switches the language on every public page

If you had chosen Ukrainian before, pressing EN · UA on a public page sometimes kept you in the language you were leaving. It now switches every time.

    • FixedSync

Your royalty history fills in faster

The browser extension's latest update reads your past months one after another until your history is complete, instead of one run every half hour. Chrome and Firefox install it on their own.

    • FixedYour account

Settings shows the price you really pay

With a promotion code, Billing showed the full plan price. It now shows what you are charged after the discount, the price it is discounted from, and when a time-limited discount ends.

    • FixedYour account

Sign out is easy to find, and signs out only this browser

On the subscribe page, Sign out is now a full button next to the email you are signed in with. Signing out ends the session in this browser only: your other computers and your phone stay signed in.

    • FixedAdvertising

Brand ad spend is shared out by copies sold

When a brand campaign's purchases had no price yet for your own titles, its spend was split evenly between them. It is now weighed by the copies each title sold.

  3. Tuesday8 changes
    • NewSync

We tell you the moment sync stops

If AuthorLens Sync stops working in your browser for a day, every screen now shows a red banner with the four steps that fix it, and the status at the top turns red. Before, you had to notice the gap in your figures yourself.

    • NewYour account

How AuthorLens connects to your account

A public page that says in plain words what we read from KDP and Amazon Ads, what we never touch, and how to disconnect at any time. Send it to anyone who asks whether it is safe.

      Open it
    • ImprovedIssues

Books that are off sale stop crowding Issues

A blocked or unpublished book has no product page, so advice like "upload a cover" never applied to it. Those books leave the list and the count now; one line under the list names them.

    • ImprovedResearch

      Honest estimates for colour books

When a rival's listing says it is in colour but not which kind, the sales estimate shows the range from standard to premium colour and tells you why. It also says when a title is paperback only or not in Kindle Unlimited.

    • ImprovedRankings

See how many paid ads sit on page 1

Rankings counts the ads on each day's first page, brand and video strips included, so you can tell a crowded phrase from one you can win without paying.

    • FixedDashboard

The dashboard's daily bars stay put

The small bars under net profit, royalties and copies no longer disappear in the morning before Amazon's newest day arrives. A short period shows a per-day figure instead of "Under one month", and filtering by paperback keeps the royalties.

    • FixedAdvertising

One royalty for each video campaign

Video and brand campaigns now show the same royalty on Performance, the book page and Ad Coach, with every edition priced at its own rate.

    • FixedAI

The assistant says why a reply failed

If an answer cannot be written, you see the reason (an expired key, for example) instead of an empty reply. A new key is accepted only after it has actually worked.

  4. Sunday5 changes
    • ImprovedResearch

Judge a niche by what a new book faces

Discover opens every category on its average price, highest first, with reviews per book beside it. The category card leads with five figures: average price, what the top 20 sell for, reviews per book, reviews in the top 20 and average rating.

    • ImprovedSpeed

      Faster screens across the app

Every screen now asks for its figures at once instead of one after another. A campaign page went from 6.0 to 2.7 seconds, and Ad Coach from 7.2 seconds to under one.

    • FixedAdvertising

A book's search figures are that book's own

Filtering searches by one title keeps only that title's rows, includes its own video campaigns, and measures its blind spots against what that title spends.

    • FixedYour account

Dates you can read at a glance

Issues, Settings and exchange-rate notes print dates like "Oct 3, 2026" in your language, not as raw numbers.

    • FixedDashboard

"Best" waits for the period to end

A chart's Best badge now crowns only a finished day, week or month, never today while it is still filling.

  5. Saturday5 changes
    • NewCredits

      See where your credits went

Credit history files every charge under an activity: watching books, keyword research, categories, AI and more. Each activity has its monthly total and a filter, every column sorts, and repeats within an hour fold into one row.

    • ImprovedIssues

"All clear" says what was checked

When Issues has nothing for you, it now says how many titles it checked on sale, how many can be advertised and how many campaigns are serving, and when it last looked.

    • ImprovedAffiliate program

      An easier payout form

The affiliate page has a searchable country list, a bank form that asks only what your country needs, and a card with your next payout.

    • FixedCredits

      A search is charged once

Reopening a slow search, or repeating one within the same window, no longer costs a second credit.

    • FixedPhone

      Tidier on a phone

Performance's metric picker fits a small phone, table headers wrap instead of cutting words in half, and the change log's filter strip shows that it scrolls.

  6. Friday2 changes
    • NewAffiliate program

      Earn 20% by recommending AuthorLens

Every account has its own referral link. You earn 20% of what each author you bring pays during their first 12 months, sent by PayPal or bank transfer.

    • NewAdvertising

Where your brand and video ads were shown

Placement now covers Sponsored Brands and video, by day and by hour: a one-sentence verdict, where the money went next to where the orders came from, and one tile per place with its orders, spend and result against break-even.

  7. Thursday5 changes
    • NewAdvertising

      Your ads, hour by hour

An hour-of-day card on Ad Coach and every campaign shows when your ads earn and when they only spend, naming a quiet hour only when there is enough evidence. A Telegram alert warns when a profitable campaign is about to run out of budget early.

    • NewAdvertising

Amazon's budget and bid suggestions, next to break-even

See the budgets Amazon recommends and the sales a campaign missed while it was out of budget, the bid range Amazon suggests for each keyword, and the keywords it suggests for each book, all judged against what a click is worth to you.

    • NewAdvertising

      Portfolios on Campaigns

Campaigns has a Portfolio column you can sort and filter by, and brand and video campaigns now get keyword performance too.

    • NewHelp

A guided tour in six chapters

The tour walks through what each screen is worth: profit, ads, growing, staying informed, AI and setup. Each stop links its manual page, and there are ten new manual pages in English and Ukrainian.

    • FixedRoyalties

Daily royalties survive the end of the month

When Amazon's month total arrives, your daily royalties stay, and the month adds only what the days do not cover. A whole month equals Amazon's own figure exactly, and a shorter period keeps every dated day.

  8. September 2026

    Wednesday6 changes
    • NewDashboard

Record what you spend outside Amazon

Add the costs Amazon never sees: Facebook or TikTok ads, promo sites, newsletters, editing, cover design, or columns you name yourself, per book and per day. Every net profit in the app subtracts them.

    • NewAdvertising

The change log: what changed in your ads

Every bid, budget, status and keyword change, and every hour a campaign spent out of budget, grouped by day. Amazon keeps 90 days of this history; we keep it for longer.

    • NewAdvertising

Ad Coach remembers what you have done

Mark a suggestion Done, or hide it for 7, 14 or 30 days. We check your change against Amazon, and after 14 days tell you whether it worked.

    • NewIssues

Why Amazon will not advertise a book

Issues now shows Amazon's reason in plain words: what is wrong, the words it flagged, what to do, and a link to the policy.

    • ImprovedResearch

Sharper sales estimates for rival books

Estimates now price colour interiors as colour (with a switch to correct it), count Kindle Unlimited reads when the title is in it, and add up every edition of a title.

    • ImprovedResearch

Watching a rival follows its paperback

One rival is one row, whichever edition you found it by, and Stop watching covers every edition. Before watching a second edition, we ask, because each one is charged separately.

  9. Tuesday2 changes
    • NewAI

Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your business

Connect AuthorLens to Claude or ChatGPT and ask about your campaigns, books, markets, rankings, issues and credits. Research questions use credits exactly as the screens do.

    • FixedAdvertising

Ad figures are complete, or say what is missing

Ad spend history counts as complete only when every day is accounted for. Until then the screen says what is still loading, instead of showing a total that looks finished.

  10. Monday2 changes
    • NewTelegram

Share your Telegram reports with up to three people

Invite a partner or an assistant with a single-use link; they receive the reports and can open the app inside Telegram. Reports can also carry a low-profit warning and your account's name.

    • FixedAdvertising

Search terms from the UK and Europe

Search terms and keyword reports now cover every region of your ads account, not only North America, and Searches can be filtered by country.

  11. Friday2 changes
    • NewRankings

Every keyword, every day, in one grid

Rankings has a grid with one row per phrase and one column per day, each position coloured by how close it is to the top. Click a day to see that day's first page.

    • ImprovedDashboard

      Your filters follow you

A book or format filter set on the Dashboard stays on as you move to Performance and Markets, and video and brand spend follows it.

  12. Sunday3 changes
    • NewRankings

Rankings: where your books show up in Amazon search

Track where each title appears for the phrases readers type, every day. Each book starts with the three phrases you pay the most for. See today's first page, a history chart with the rivals you watch, and get a Telegram message when something moves.

    • NewBooks

A book's profit, country by country

A book's page now has one row per storefront: royalties, ad spend, net, ad and organic orders, ACOS, TACOS and conversion.

    • FixedResearch

      Prices compared like for like

Research compares a paperback's price with other paperbacks and a Kindle book's with other Kindle books, never one against the other.
